Love this! I’ve found I enjoy my solitude so much more than I do being part of the crowd. Because of that, I’ve been able to intentionally experience and analyze each evolution I go through. It’s a beautiful thing, and I hope everyone gets to experience and cherish it!
this is so perfectly said. i agree, i've been able to analyze my evolution as well without the cloud of other people's opinions. getting to know yourself is the most beautiful and transformational thing 🦋
I absolutely love this. It was so encouraging and such a good reminder to remember to love yourself and don't be afraid to just be out there doing you 👏🏽
I have been doing this for 10 years now! At first it was because I was too nervous to be around people when I had my bad days! Then it just became a habit, my inner-self needed those alone time.. this really helped accept myself, and helped me become a better version of myself!
I am so happy to see that other people cherish and appreciate alone time. And Thanks for mentioning that Even if you have a best friend or a partner, Alone time is very necessary, I felt I was alone in this thought!
Yes i relate to this so much! I love doing things alone especially growing up as the only child, it forced me to be super independent and to be comfortable just existing by myself.
such a nice read:) thank you. i want to start prioritizing solo dates again! i like going to coffee shops, the beach, walks, or one time i went to a music festival alone! it was so nerve-racking but so worth it in the end, because i learned so much about myself
What a beautiful piece! I came across this newsletter in such perfect timing. Reading through your piece definitely encouraged me to realign and get to know myself better! I found myself relating so much on your experience when you were a freshman. I just moved here two years ago and somehow I'm still taking my precious time to adjust and take in my new environment, it gets difficult most of the time but whenever I try new things alone, I feel so liberated and free. Since then, I became more adventurous and as if the world is my oyster!
i’m heading to paris for 4 days completely by myself. i’ve never been so excited. i can do whatever the hell i want and it’s going to be magical 💝
i'm so jealous!! i hope you have the most amazing & magical experience ✨✨
Some of my favorite things to do alone are eating food and listening to music!
Thank you for sharing 🙌🏾

going to go to the park and read by myself on Sunday! it's true I'm always around someone or feeling the need to be around someone!
